List your top 3 choices of what you feel are easy songs to play on guitar for beginners.

Pick a song you think you can play right now if someone showed you how.

Then pick two others that you feel might be more of a challenge for you.

You don’t want to try to tackle something that is too difficult for you because that could lead to you becoming discouraged.

Think of learning how to play guitar as training for a Marathon.

You don’t go out and run 25 miles your first time.

You have to work up to it. Well, playing Guitar is similar.

Start out with a few easy songs to play on Guitar…

Then slowly build up to more difficult pieces as your playing begins to progress. Even after years of practice you may still encounter a few tunes that are quite challenging.

Depending how you look at it, attempting to play a very challenging piece can be very rewarding once you are able to play an entire song all the way through.

Lenny Kravitz has recorded quite a few easy songs to play on Guitar.

They may be easy to play but it takes a little soulfulness to really pull them off properly.

If you dig the retro vibe and you like catchy riffs, make sure you check out some of Lenny’s earlier stuff.

I’m going to shoot a video that shows the main rhythm parts to Alice In Chains, Man In A Box.

That song although a little dated, still rocks.

I actually heard a band playing it live on the street in Las Vegas, a couple of months ago and it reminded me of what a cool song it is.

It’s actually pretty easy to play as well. The chorus uses an E chord a G major chord a D chord and an A Chord.

It’s a shame that Layne Staley died so young.

These guys wrote some incredible tunes and really changed the face of rock music in the early nineties.

If you get a chance, check out there Dirt album it is a rock classic.
